First Game

My three year old grandson checks out his new cleats. He told me they make him very fast.

He listens intently as his coach gives instructions on how to play soccer.
Now he imagines the great plays he'll make as soon as the game starts.

Stretching the old quads in preparation for the action.

Checking out his shadow to make sure he's in proper alignment.

He checks out a nearby game as he moves to overtake the pack.

His cousins and sister make up a mini cheerleading squad.

Delusions of grandeur make me feel a lot better about myself.
