Change of What?

In one of his well delivered cliched speeches president Obama told us that doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results was insanity. I propose to you that our president is insane. His nominees for cabinet positions are all hackneyed politicians from the Clinton era. In case you have forgotten the Clinton era, it was rife with dirty dealings and scandal. Now, the new president, only a few weeks into his tenure has said of his appointments, "I screwed up." No Mr. President, we screwed up. How could someone with no real life work experience be expected to lead the United States of America? The revelations that these former politicians live by a different set of rules than the rest of us should come as no surprise. Tom Daschle making 83,000 dollars a month in consulting fees and forgetting to report one month should surprise no one. If the IRS really wants to gather some back taxes with penalty and interest, they should audit every U. S. Representative and Senator in D.C. If they really want to mop up they could extend that to those like Daschle who have left office with their Rolodex in hand. And, president Obama wants all his appointees to come clean and yet he has blocked access to his records in almost every venue imaginable. Me thinks something stinks big time inside the beltway. In these first few weeks we have been robbed of billions and no one can tell us how the economy has been, or will be affected in a positive manner. If someone tells you to change clothes because you stink, and you change yours with someone else who hasn't bathed in weeks, where's the benefit? Folks, it is only going to get worse.
