Hittin' The Road

The Old Road Star is gassed up and shiny.  Tomorrow morning I will hit the road and go to see my little mother.  She is scheduled to have two heart stints installed on Wednesday of this week. I also plan to meet and visit with some blogging buddies from Georgia who are in Texas for a couple of weeks to ride motorcycles and visit the Hill Country.  Sparky and Wire grass Steve are headed this way and I will be close to where they are making camp.  I should be back in front of the computer later in the week.  Maybe some new pictures and a new poem or two will be in the offing.  Have a great week.  Pappy    P. S.  I'm twenty pounds lighter than when this picture was taken.  Maybe I won't have to use the wide angle lens this trip.
