Constitution? What Constitution?

I don't care if you are a Democrat or Republican. I don't care if you voted for Barack Obama. If you are an educated American you have got to ask yourself what's going on in our country. Do you realize that those Democrats in D.C. including our new President are peeing on the U. S. Constitution? This should cause us all great concern. I can't elaborate today because I have a pressing engagement, but I will try and give you some tasty tid bits to chew on until I return. Many individual States are concerned about the Stimulus Bill. Many voters from both sides realize that something is terribly wrong in D.C. We are being railroaded by a bunch of rogue politicians who are basically saying we'll do whatever we please - U. S. Constitution be damned.

Lawmakers in 20 states move to reclaim sovereignty
Obama's $1 trillion deficit-spending 'stimulus plan' seen as last straw Posted: February 06, 2009 11:50 pm Eastern
Just one example:

“NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE OF THE 1ST SESSION OF THE 52ND OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:

“THAT the State of Oklahoma hereby claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.”

The resolution serves notice on the federal government that it is to “cease and desist” in the process of issuing mandates to the State of Oklahoma that exceed the powers granted to it by the U.S. Constitution, and it resolves that all compulsory federal legislation which directs the state to comply under threat of civil or criminal sanctions, or which requires the state to take certain actions or lose federal funding, shall be prohibited or repealed.

Every American should write their State legislators and tell them to refuse every dime of Stimulus money.

Who's next? Tax troubles for president's chief of staff
There could be tax troubles on the horizon for White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, who reportedly has lived rent-free in Washington for five years but hasn't paid taxes on the imputed income from that, according to reports.
