Tuesdays could be considered lite days in the weekly scheme of days. We have "Blue Mondays", Wednesdays are known as "hump day", Thursdays we work hard looking ahead to Fridays, "TGIF" and then there is the week end. But, Tuesdays just don't have a special designation. So in the spirit of the day, I am going to keep it lite. Barbara and I turned sixty last year, so if you wondered what that looks like, look at my half of the picture. A rounder and gentler representation of what I used to be with reading glasses hung around my neck for easy access - Barb still looks the same. I got a nice e-mail from Carol Harley of the Misty River Band. You can listen to a sample of their music by clicking on their link under my favorites. I know you'll like it.
The Road
From dark to light,
from east to west.
From desert bare
to mountain’s crest.
The road less traveled
serves us best.

The Squirrel
He sits on a limb
in a small oak tree
in the back yard
at my home.
His big bushy tail
sways back and forth
like the arm
on a metronome.
I am mesmerized
by his deep brown eyes
as he looks back at
my own.
